WHAT IS IT?
EFT or "Tapping"
Emotional Freedom Technique, "EFT," or “tapping,” is a gentle and effective technique for bringing greater happiness and satisfaction into your life by developing confidence, productivity, and relaxation. It can help calm feelings of panic and overwhelm, reduce worry and anxiety, and increase self-esteem and focus. Using EFT can support you to move beyond self-limiting beliefs and open up towards greater possibilities.
This practical technique involves using the fingers to gently tap on specific acupuncture points along the meridian lines of Chinese medicine. Clinical trials around the world have shown that the therapeutic effects of EFT tapping rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress, often beginning to work within just three to five sessions.
Tapping helps us tune in to the negative patterns that we form around our uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, or troubling memories. We ‘tap’ on pressure points while bringing the thoughts or emotions into consciousness to find relief, relaxation, and promote healing around the emotional or physical issues that are holding us back. This reduction to our stress levels and increase in our energy, can improve our immune response and build our natural defenses to infection.

In general, you can expect around three to five sessions to properly address your anxious or stressed thinking. Stress and feeling anxious need not control your life, and can help you relax better, handle stress, and enjoy life more. Every session is different. In your first meeting, we discuss your goals and past challenges. You will experience a positive session exploring the benefits you’d like to achieve while also starting to compound the healthy changes.
